Mallory is is a recreation/business major, which is the basis of her winning entry: "Recreation Leadership: Where Business Meets Adventure." She recently learned about and is interested in the new Youth Ambassador program through the Virginia State Parks, celebrating their 75th year and the first state in the nation to create a system of recreational parks for public use.

Brandon Fair
Sophomore at Virginia Tech
Brandon Fair earned second place in the Collegiate Undergraduate competition with "Canadian Pinholes." He is a Sophomore majoring in Fisheries Science, in the College of Natural Resources at Virginia Tech. This avid outdoors man is interested in aquatic ecosystems, hiking, camping, and exploring nature. These interests shaped his interest in pursuit of a career in the outdoors as a freshwater fish biologist in the USA or in another country.
