By joining the Virginia Outdoor Writers Association, you will benefit
from meeting a new circle of friends and colleagues who have been
working since 1963 to share their writings and artistic expressions
of Virginia's magnificent outdoors.
You will receive periodic updates about member accomplishments,
as well as social activities planned during the spring and fall
seasons. These outings offer you the opportunity to visit many areas
of the Commonwealth -- to enjoy regional delights -- and always
include an educational program. The trips include plenty of time
for relaxing on nearby rivers or hiking in forest and field.
Most important, you will come to cherish the fellowship that results
from joining a network of similar-minded professionals. Members
learn from each other while gaining valuable contacts that help
them in their career development.
VOWA is a non-profit organization and has its incorporation documentation on file with the Commonwealth of Virginia,
State Corporation Commission .
