Virginia cousins, spring peepers, and chorus frogs. Outdoor education groups,
such as VOWA, help inform the public of state, country, and global issues
that affect nature and wildlife.

Douglas Dear Win Prestigious Award by King Montgomery
VOWA member Douglas Dear recently won the coveted L.L. Bean Outdoor Heros Award, one of only five given nationwide, for his considerable volunteer work with Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. (PHWFF).

"Spike" Knuth who has been a VOWAhas been a VOWA member from its inception, and he has served in about every capacity—from board member to President and then Chairman of the Board.When ever the association needed his services, Spike answered the call.
