Hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains, Skyline Drive, the Appalachian trail, or other favorite places not only provides a good time on an outing, it provides a good way to exercise physically and mentally. Be sure to wear appropriate clothing layers so you can adapt along the treks rough terrain and to adapt to the possible weather changes you could encounter.
